Today we have a hot and lazy day. Sometimes I wonder how it is possible to live in Tuscany where they have only hot days and good food. Above you can see a black woman from Africa graced with a kerchief. I suppose this is the last of my Africa paintings. I 'd like to do some more.

I love himba tribe. They are amazing and one of a kind. Here you can see a Himba women who washes her body with smoke. In this way Himba people purify their bodies because water is very little in Namibia-this is where they live. It is in the south of Africa.

Today I'm thinking about the fact that life can change very quickly for better and for worse. I've just read about a family which chose Tuscany as their destination and decided to stay there permamently. I also think about it but I have no funds and somehow I still hope that I can fullfil my dream. I want to stay there and earn money by painting. Maybe somehow my life can change.
I love Italy maybe not for the sun but for wonderful evenings.  I long for Italy but I know that a woman can't stay there alone.

Today I feel melancholy. As I mentioned in the previous post I had had a vernisage. It was my first time with so many people. My art teacher was present and feel honoured by this. The atmosphere was nice and people were great. I got a selection of paintbrushes. The owner of that restaurant earned some money because many persons ordered ice cream desserts. It was my first time with so many people. I even got a proposition to run a short painting course. I was amazed by this. 
      For some time I painted black women which was great for me. I have a different perception of beauty. I admire black people for their supple bodies, their graceful movements. Above you can see a black women adorned with special coins. I devoted much time to her lips which are chapped.
