This is one of my favourite pictures of my cat. He is cute. What is more I'm fascinated by the play of light and shade. It looks beautiful on every picture and painting. Here the colours are also amazing. To me it has got a calming effect.
Now maybe about art because this post is goinng to be about it. Well, I noticed that simple lines of colour on the painting can change everything. It can magnify something or make something smaller. Hence, you should be very careful with your painting, because one line can bring out the good points of it.This is it.

My private musings on art

I didn't post anything for a very long time. Since that time many thoughts passed through my mind. This is my custom to have many musings about art. Maybe because I deal with it most of the time. I observe and draw conclusions from my failures and little triumphs. One thing is for sure: you should accept yourself the way you are in art. Otherwise you inhibit your headway. I already wrote about it so I wont ponder on it much.
From some time as I admire various works of art one thing comes to my mind. It is that the end process should be more valued than the amount of work and effort you put into your painting. This is something that bothers me for some time. Maybe it is like our life. The end decides about your eternal life. The same applies to art.
